The cookery of a place, tells you the story of a land with semplicity and directness, and the gastronomy of Carnia will tell you about our mountains, our green and our past. The traveller who comes to the Hotel Diffuso Tolmezzo can enjoy, in the restaurants and inns, our traditional dishes, such as "Toc in Braide", a soft polenta embellished with a creamy cheese, or the "Toc di Vore" where the polenta is joined with a few pieces of sausages; "Brovade cul muset", a balanced mix between the Friulian acid turnips and the local sausage "cotechino"; Frico, crumbly or soft with potatoes; , and finally the Cjarsons, in their 42 recipes that belong to two major categories: sweet or savory.
