The apartment is part of a house arranged on 4 floors dating from the late 1800s. It stands out among the other buildings and you can recognize it from afar because of its two typical portholes. On the ground floor there is a hall divided into a dining room with a large table in the middle, an old stone sink, a wood firing stove (spolert) and a central chimney space: a typical carnic part of the house for the fireplace where, in the past, families spent most of the time to be warm. Here grannies used to knit (gugja) while mothers used to cook and children to play. On the ground floor there is a laundry room with a washing machine, a clothes horse, an ironing board and an iron. Outside there is a nice little garden where guests can find fresh fruits, vegetables and different herbs to flavor their dishes, and a furnished courtyard with a table, some chairs and a beach umbrella, to be comfortable on sunny days.
Facilities:
From both the second and the third floors you can enjoy a beautiful view: you can see the village of Tolmezzo, the resort of "Navarlons" and the two churches: The San Floriano and The But Santa Maria on But Churches. On the second floor there is a typical wooden balcony. Nearby there are cycle paths to Arta Terme and Villa Santina, as well as a lot of trails in the wild. One of them leads to the water spring “Pudia”, a sulfur healing water.
