Tolmezzo is a lively and active city, in which you will find sacred buildings such as The Cathedral of Tolmezzo, the Church of Santa Caterina, the ancient Church of St. Florian in Illegio, the Church of S. Maria alto But. Historic buildings like the Linussio Factory, now used as barracks. Art buildings such as the Palace Frisacco where you can also visit the permanent art exposition Corbellini. But the real highlight is the Carnic Museum Michele Gortani, one of the largest ethnographic museums in Europe, that hosts an important collection of art and craftworks of the Carnic people from the fourteenth to the twentieth century.
